Vaishnav Das Vyas

Vaishnavdas Vyas Hari (1935.c–2011) full name Hari Vaishnav Daswas born in Kishangarh. He studied arts at Ajmer and received his Bachelor’s degree from the university there. Starting his career as a cinema bill board painter, he joined Alwar Museum and worked as its Director but resigned from the job soon to pursue his passion and take to full time work as a painter. He worked in many styles of Indian painting Kangra, Bisholi and Pahari schools and is known as the master of Kishangarh school of painting. Also credited with painting some exquisite pichhavais, his work is held in many private collections in India and abroad.
