Dwarka Lal Jangid (1914 – c. 2000) hailed from a family of traditional painters of Nathdwara. Trained under the watchful care of his father Late Ramlalji, and Narottam Narayan Sharma, he specialized in the techniques of wall painting at a very early age. Featured in various Indian and foreign journals, his work is held in various collections and museums around the world. His work has also been part of many exhibitions in India and abroad. Felicitated with a National Award as Master Craftsperson, his Pichhwai paintings are of exceptional quality and in great demand.
