Sushma K. Bahl

Curator
Author of 5000 Years of Indian Art, and former Head, Arts & Culture, British Council India,Sushma K Bahl, MBE, is an independent arts adviser, writer and curator of cultural projects, based in Delhi. She led on the festivals of India in the UK and South Korea besides artists’ residencies and cultural projects in India and internationally. She was the Guest Director for XI Triennale-India 2005, Project Consultant for Bharat Rang Mahotsav X11, Jury Member for the 14th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 2010, and curator of India- ASEAN artists’ residency & exhibition in 2012. Amongst the collaborative projects and exhibitions curated by her, Ways of Seeing art exhibition won the best-curated group show IHC Art India Award. Editor and contributor for catalogs and artists’ books including those on Thota Vaikuntam, Paresh Maity, Satish Gupta, Sarla Chandra, and Shuvaprasanna, Sushma Bahl is a trustee and advisory board member of a select few cultural institutions in India and abroad.

Archana Bahl Sapra

Delhi based professionally qualified architect and independent arts consultant Archana B. Sapra is co-founder of Arts4All Trust- an NGO that aims to promote dialogue across cultures. She is also on the editorial board for Creative Mind quarterly art magazine. Her career span includes curating art exhibitions, conceiving and implementing cultural projects, writing and researching on art, designing homes, and offices, and commissioning, evaluating and advising in sourcing art works besides other arts management initiatives. She has curated several exhibitions, including CrossOver- a residency and exhibition at Dhaka and Delhi for artists from India and Bangladesh and Merging Metaphors an India ASEAN artists’ residency and exhibition. She was project consultant for a multi arts festival in Delhi in 2010. Archana and her co-trustee put together Batting For Art project in 2013 and organized series of artists’ residencies and other initiatives in support of Arts4All Trust.
